With a quick check on Facebook I find Debbie Ure , Mike Cirelli , Jimmy Hill , Mark Laney , Curtis Hunt and Jeff Pratt . Not sure how often they check posts but they are all on there. I believe Jeff Brouillette is deceased. Hopefully this helps

I tried the Post Star - 3- 3 day ad is $315 and 4 day (2" x 2 1/2") is $240.. I have left a message for the Chronicle to see what we can do there

Also - unless anybody else has contacts/ideas/willingness to undertake this - should I contact some hotels in Lake George or Saratoga to see about blocks of rooms? It's a holiday weekend during prime leaf-peeping season and only 4 months away

Vanessa , Wow the Post Star is very expensive, A great idea to check the Chronicle !  (the social media sites should really help too, facebook, linked-in,  for those searching even a google search for missing classmates by name and apx age or SGF 1973 HS grad & see what you get?  I think it's aslo a great idea to check blocks of hotel rooms. 4 months is close & its a holiday weekend & fall leaf season, that Might make Saratoga or Glens Falls rooms easier than Lake George? As soon as we hear back from Massies & dinner dance, cruise, we can send out the info we get along with the school tour & football info & ask for sign ups & maybe  we will have hotel blocks or suggestions? Kevin was right, more people were needed to step up  & help & more classmates are helping !

Wow, I'm impressed with all the activity!

This is no "snail mail" protocol to send anything out from the website but -- if an email address is known -- you can click a person's name in Missing Classmates and send an invitation with an embedded link to register.

Hi all, it's been 50 years since we all attended SHS. I'm finding my way around this site but don't really see anything about a get together for our 50th year reunion. Is there plans made?  If so, what are they?

Hi Jill-  check out the "message forum" on the left to see where we stand.

Memories...It's been 50 years since our HS Grad and 50 years since Secretariat won the Belmont Stakes, a record that still stands today! Yesterday, 50 years later my husband & I were standing in the paddock at the Belmont stakes honoring Secretariat 's win, before our own race.  50 years ago my Dad passed away May 20th of our Sr Year and 50 years just flashed before my eyes, all the highs & the lows. This fall we will celebrate our 50th HS reunion and i look forward to seeing & hearing about everyone! Hoping we can make our 50th special ...

great news several of you have located many of our missing classmates! Any word back from Massies or If there is a possibility of having an Oct Lake George Boat Cruise ? The Superintendent of SGFHS went to Massies for dinner & she had suggested it earlier to me so I asked her if she could inquire for us.  She told me they told her they would prefer a Sat night to close for private party but for us to reach out  thru their Web Site contact info. I told her that a classmate already had . any updates?

Natalie VanGuilder (Hoeppner)

Vanessa,  as someone who is coming a distance for our reunion, I would appreciate you looking into a block of rooms for us.  I would love to be able to visit with people even after our activities!   I have never gotten a block of rooms, so I'm not sure if there's a deposit, or if there's a problem if all the rooms are not taken.     On another note, I am willing to come up with some simple table decorations for the dinner Saturday evening, just to add to the ambiance

I went to a friend's 50th reunion last weekend.  I was paying close attention to how they did things.  They had a much larger class than we do, but the premise is the same.   I liked the idea of having different colors for the activities each person chose that required a cost . They had wristbands with the colors, and name tags for each day.  My thought was that if we could do a pin-on tag, we could put colored dots on the name tags which cut down on potential printing costs.    Thoughts?

And thank you to everyone who is working so diligently to connect with our classmates

Hello Admin of this site. Would it be possible to update the Announcement on the home page. I believe it is a message from the last class reunion. Maybe update to announce plans for 50th class reunion? Thanks!! DonnaWB

Not sure what we are looking for in terms of rooms but will see if I can locate a couple places with different costs and room qualities near one another. Also I have still not heard back from the Chronicle so I wiill try again

Natalie (from earlier today), good idea re the color codes! I would suggest that they represent ANY event, regardless of cost, so that folks know at a glance what others are planning. Unless someone objects, I plan to print nametags (probably multiple copies of stick-on ones) and will take care of the costs for them. The website has access to yearbook pictures which can be included. I, for one, will have a much easier time recognizing people from those!

Donna (also from earlier today), "admin of this site" would be me. I'm not sure how that old announcement came up but I've taken it down and added a word about the upcoming event.
