Thank you for sharing Ellen. Sad news. Unfortunately, we see more and more as we get older. Keep moving forward everyone.👍

Thank you Ellen for letting us know about Wendy Greenleaf.  My condolences to you and to her family and loved ones.

So sorry to hear about Wendy! We "triple dated" with her any number of times. Ellen, do you know when services are? Probably won't be able to attend but never can tell...

Dan, thanks for asking! Kidney is doing great! Some trembling and balance issues due to anti-rejection medications but a big improvement overall. We hope to see many classmates the weekend of July 25. (Vanessa is having a hard time typing but asked me to ask if people are planning to do some things that weekend. Ellen has a pavilion reserved for a BYO picnic, I think. Anything else?)

This may be hard to read I misspel and   type many letters in a row due to shaking. I tried to answer Dnnanny and Donna W once - Danny's was deleted and I could not retrieve it and I think Donnas is in a cloud somewhere. I have so many wondeful memories of Wendy.I’ve been looking all over (Our son, wife and his 3 kids (8, 4, and 1) moved in 3 ½ years ago and moved out in Sept so we’re still clearing out stuff) for a shirt I bought her that I wanted my photo taken in to put in this comment but I’m out of time.  Anyway it says “You can move me but it won’t stop me from talking”  It was in memory of us in Mr. Gormans 8th grade math class. (We did get kicked out of miss Guys chorus for pretending to be hound dogs with hair in low pigtails (long ears)  No loss because we were whatever the opposite of fa favorites is (I’ll ask my husband as he was that!) Also kicked out of gym for being caught doing one-two- three o ‘ Wilma but don’t remember who was with me – very likely her. Wendy was always my favorite partner in crime and was so sorry she didn’t make it to our 50th for a final chance for a hug. I hope to see many of you in July. Kevin has approved of my t shirt to wear so it doesn’t cause  problems solook for a happy white bulldog with flowers and See everyone soon!

Vanessa thank you for sharing those memories. After reading it it made me smile as Noreen and I could have been part of the 1,2,3 a Wilma as we were caught as well. Lol

Danny, sounds good! Any suggestions on when to meet at Humbuggs? Craig, any chance of getting that room at Golden Corral? That worked well.

Thanks for all the info on the informal get together in July.  I'm planning to come up for it. And thanks for all your work putting it together.  Vanessa, I'm glad to hear you are doing well.  Looking forward to seeing you all again.  DonnaW

Golden Corral on the weekends opens at 9am. Breakfast is from 9 to 11 am.
As I have stated we have reserved the party room for 9am. My manager has logged it in the event bookings book.

7pm for Humbugs sounds great.  I won’t be getting into town until about 3-4pm, so that gives me and my family time to get settled in

Kevin Chamberlain

Danny, thanks for the info on the cruise! I'll put that on the "event page." I don't think we need a backup for Saturday: Ellen reserved a pavilion if it rains and she also offered an additional canopy.

Natalie VanGuilder (Hoeppner)

Thanks for that information Danny.  Appreciate it!    :-)

Kevin Chamberlain

Danny, you have a point but I'm still against setting up a back up plan now. If the weather DOES turn so nasty that people at the pavilion want to leave, we can decide where to go then. If there were a back up plan already in place and the weather is only "iffy," people wouldn't know which place to go. If the forecast looks bad when we get closer, we can make back up plans then.
