Skip was the first person to befriend me when my family moved to the school district in early 1966. I was almost painfully shy at the time and I don't know if he knew how much I appreciated it. We remained friends for several years until drifting apart, but I'll always have fond memories of him.
I remember Skip. He was a fun guy. I think he had a sister that was near his age in school. I hate that we have lost so many wonderful people at such an early age from our class. Rest in Peace Skip.
