Hello Fellow Classmates!  I hope life has been kind and generous to all of you.  I look forward to seeing everyone this summer.  I've decided to get a large face tattoo of the bulldog and ribbons, so you should have no problem identifying me.

Our class of 1973 all attended 6th grade at the Spring Street School. The school is gone now and is a village park now. There were 8 classrooms with 4 per floor. I remember Mrs. Conrick was my teacher there on the second floor. Old wooden floors everywhere too. Wondering what year it was torn down?

Just a quick note to say Hi to the Reunion Committee.  I hope all is well with you.

Haven't been on the site for a while, it looks as though you've done a great job getting folks signed up.

Thank you for your efforts:)  It won't be long now.

Best,

Thank you, Dale, Gloria, Roseanne, George, Kevin, Vanessa (have I left anyone out?) for the wonderful job you did organizing our 40th reunion.  I can't even imagine how much time and effort it must have taken to pull everything together.  I truly enjoyed seeing everyone, some whom I have not seen in 40 years.  Pete's prayer topped off the evening for me.  I returned to Minneapolis today with only fond memories of the great time I had at our 40th!

A huge thank you to the reunion committee for the job you did putting all this together.  I really enjoyed seeing everyone again.  Frank Palmer did an amazing job hosting and I think he kept the hair he had in the 70's;-).  I cannot wait to see the photos taken during the reunion.

Cheers to all!

Rob

Hi again Fellow Classmates.  I have a summer class assignment that you will thank me for later...I promise!

My friend Marcus Luttrell is a retired Navy SEAL who wrote the New York Times Best Seller, "Lone Survivor", which is now available in paperback.  Marcus was the lone survivor of Operation Redwing in 2005 when 16 Special Forces lost their lives.  This may just be the best book you'll ever read and I doubt that a dry eye has ever scanned it's pages.

Now, after many years and a lead change, the Universal major motion picture of the same name will premier this November.  Mark Wahlberg will play Marcus and I am here to tell you that those are hard boots to fill.

Today, I received an email containing the first trailer for the movie.  Please drop me a line on this site or to palmer@precor.com with your email address and I will gladly send you the eBlast I received from the Boot Campaign.

I sincerely hope to hear from each of you.  Thank you.

And a special thank you to the US Military Service Men and Woman who attended our reunion dinner...

Donna Winslow-Bialozor

David Calhoun

Thank you, and all our troops, for your service to our great Country and for protecting our freedoms!

Thanks to all of our reunion organizers! I had a great time (even more than I expected).

I thought our High School seemed smaller than I remembered but was encouraged to see all of the new computers and electronics that were being incorporated.

I knew a lot of you were talented but had no idea we had such a talented commedian in our class! How will you top the 40th reunion performance at the next reunion?

Many of my friends here in CT couldn't wait to hear how our 40th reunion went. They are close to the same milestone and I think were very encouraged to hear how much fun we had. The primary lesson I passed on to them, be sure to have name tags with high school pictures on them! Some of us have changed just a bit over the past 40 years.

Since our reunion I've been looking through a lot of my old photo albums and I have found some priceless photos. I will pass these on to our organizers in preparation for our next reunion.

Hope we can keep this site up and running!

Cherie

We are hoping to have the classmate that brought the photo of Spring Street school scan it to the photo page on the website. People have been asking about copies.  If anyone has photos to post---please do so before we forget!! We all look forward to seeing what you saw. Thanks--Dale

Hey All,

This is a little late in posting, but I was never on time much anyways. First I would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to put our reunion all together. ( You did a fantastic job and I'm sure put many of your own hours into this THANK YOU ) It was great to see everyone who showed up, not many have changed much. I find it hard to believe that some traveled so many miles to come, that is a big committment on your part thank you for traveling. My only disappointment was that more didn't come, but times are not the best for everyone. The informal get together was a little warm but we servived. At the formal gathering there were many surprises and lots of laughs. Frank Palmer you were outrageous, great job. I know I haven't kept in contact with anyone over the years, but when I saw all the old faces it was like time had stood still, the more things change the more they stay the same. I wish all our classmates peace and good health as we approach our golden years and retirements. Good to see you all !!!!!!

Thank you for all the people who worked so hard putting the reunion together. It must have been quite a difficult job finding alumni.  Many times I have wondered how members of our class are doing. It was wonderful to meet our classmates and hear where life has taken them. I am so proud of the people I was able to talk with, hear about the different paths they chose, and where they are now. Looking forward to the next time we can get together!
